Waxed Low-Profile Logger Cap

Size:
Colour: Otter Green
Otter Green

No mesh – no entry

If you've ever spent a windless dusk in a Scottish forest or Scandinavian bog with a mesh-backed trucker cap on, you'll have a pretty keen idea why this low-profile logger cap exists. Try as they might, those mosquitos and midges aren’t getting through 15-oz. Tin Cloth. It’s a heavier and more weather-resistant cap than the mesh-back version – with a rounded six-panel crown that sits a little closer to the head. Embroidered grommets do the ventilation work without handing the local insect population a free pass, and the pre-curved bill gives it classic ball cap styling. As with anything in Tin Cloth, it wears in beautifully – and it’ll be starting to look its best just as a lesser hat would be ready for the bin.

    • 15-oz. waxed 100% cotton canvas (Tin Cloth)
    • Streamlined low-profile six-panel crown
    • Embroidered grommets for ventilation
    • 3" pre-curved bill
    • Leather adjusting strap with custom brass clasp
    • Embroidered Filson logo
    • Brush or wipe clean – rewax to maintain water resistance
    • Do not wash or dry clean – brush or wipe clean with a damp rag.
    • Rewax as needed to maintain maximum water resistance.
    • To prevent the transfer of oils, we recommend avoiding prolonged contact between Filson oil finish goods and light-colored fabrics, especially in warm weather.
  • Sustainability through Longevity - Filson guarantees the quality of every item they make. It's that simple. They believe in their products and stand by the quality of workmanship, craftsmanship and materials in each one. Every Filson product is guaranteed for life against failure or damage in its intended usage.
  • Over the years, Filson's philosophy has never changed: Make sure it's the absolute best. Clinton Filson spent a lot of time talking to his customers and refining his designs to their specifications. So it's not surprising that the items that worked then still work today, over 120 years later. Comfort, protection and durability never go out of style.
