Not only is the shell made of GORE-TEX's latest 2-layer fabric with fully taped seams, but the down itself is water-repellent, so it’ll loft up even when wet. While we’re on the subject of the down fill, there’s no compromises here – they’ve used top-quality 900+ fill power Polish white goose down for the best warmth-to-weight possible. A fine 15D mini-ripstop lining keeps weight down without sacrificing tear resistance, and the jacket is machine washable at home. The specs are exceptional, and as usual with Snow Peak, the build quality is even better.
