The GigaPower system is Snow Peak's take on a problem that's become increasingly relevant at camp: power. The GigaPower Battery – co-developed with Anker and shaped like a classic gas canister – uses lithium iron phosphate chemistry with roughly four times the lifespan of a typical mobile battery, available in 15000 mAh or 30000 mAh. Screw either the Tabletop or Hanging Lantern onto the top and it becomes the base of a complete lighting system, with the whole assembly looking like a traditional hurricane lantern. The Battery also functions as a standalone power bank with two USB-C and one USB-A port for charging phones, tablets and laptops. The Tabletop Lantern sits on any flat surface; the Hanging Lantern adds a suspension hook for tents and shelters. Both are LEDs, both are dimmable, and both carry Snow Peak's lifetime repair and replacement commitment.
Five modes including sunrise and sunset gradients, candle and sleep – all adjusted with a side knob that feels as analogue as the lantern looks.
